About This Station

This station is powered by a Davis Instruments Vantage Pro 2 weather station. Installed and put into service in the Spring of 2007, data is collected every 2-3 seconds and the website is updated every 60 seconds. This station’s data is collected using Weather Display Software. The data is then displayed on the website and uploaded to various organizations, such as Plainsweather Network, Midwestern Weather Network, CWOP, PWS Weather, Weather Underground, AWEKAS, HamWeather, Weather4You. The station consists of an anemometer, barometer, rain gauge and a thermo-hygro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible.
This station is located about 1.5 miles west of McLouth in the glacial hills of northeast Kansas.
